Need Fire Stuff?

Then may I be so bold as to suggest that you check out the
Home of Poi?
I've got personal experience with this vendor (albeit a couple of years ago) that makes me a HUGE proponent.. I ordered a set of 3 1/2" single wick poi from these guys right around xmastime.. and I actually got the package BEFORE the new year.
Unfortunately, HoP had mistakenly sent me a set of 3 1/2" DUAL wick poi.. a nice little upgrade, but I was just getting started at this point, so it was a little intimidating! I sent them an email explaining the situation, and offered to fire the double poi back to them.. they told me to keep the big 'uns, and shipped me the set I order via Overnite. Got 'em three days later - from New Zealand! So, long story short - try them out! The prices are good, the products are great, and the customer service is second to none!

we in the chemistry club need not resort to buying things like those; we make our own explosives.
Were these explosives, my good sir, that would be an appropriate statement :)
These, however, are Kevlar wicks soaked in white gas.
What say you to *that*?
